A Dose of Inspiration: Good Client, Better Client

Enjoy the humor and share a laugh, or if you prefer to relate to my more serious side, take some notes! ;)

A good client finds me on Google.
A better client was referred to me by someone they know who recommended me.

A good client shows up early for their massage.
A better client knows I'll be there only about 5 minutes early (if that sometimes!) to set up and shows up on time.

A good client says they want to reschedule their next massage, but doesn't know their own schedule.
A better client knows the exact date and time they want to come in again and tells ME when that'll be.

A good client shares their results and experiences with their friends and family.
A better client posts a review on my business listings online.

A good client lets me know 24 hours in advance when they can't make it to their appointment.
A better client sends someone else in their place.

A good client knows the balance they need for talk and silence during their massage.
A better client breathes with the work being done.

A good client has experienced my massages.
A better client has also enjoyed one or more of the spa treatments I offer.

A good client tells their friends and family to come see me.
A better client buys gift certificates for their friends and family so they have no excuse not to come see me.

A good client comes in regularly.
A better client buys a massage package and saves both money on the expense of massage and time spent on making a transaction at each session.

A good client comes in for massage once in a while, when they can afford it.
A better client follows me on Facebook and takes advantage of my same-day appointment discounts.

A good client comes in with their own water bottle.
A better client drinks the water I give anyway.

A good client saw me a few times a couple years ago.
A better client came back after those couple of years and becomes a regular client again.

A good client comes in religiously for treatment following a car accident.
A better client continues their care after the insurance coverage has ended.

A good client pays part of my bills for the month.
A better client has kept me in business for 5 years and counting.

Cheers to all my good and better clients! You are all fantastic! If not for you, I couldn't be enjoying what I do for a living. :-D Thank you all so much!!!

Sweetly satisfying, these pleasant, refreshing moisturizers are perfect for intensive, all-day skin hydration. Exercise indulgence with fun and fruity Skin Therapy from Set-N-Me-Free.

Both of these butters help to diminish wrinkles and hydrate skin for a soft, supple feel.

Customize your relaxation and skin enhancing experience with a body butter that will sweeten your massage, hydrate skin, and diminish wrinkles. The honey adds a warm, soothing feeling, while the mango is more invigorating and refreshing.

Same-Day Appointments
Follow me on Facebook for regular notification of my same-day appointment availability. If you decide to book one of those appointments, you'll be treated to $15 off regular rates, but you need to mention the offer to get it.

People looking for a massage on Google will now also see when I have open appointments when they click on my Place Page. Those posts will not be directly tied to a $15 savings offer, but I do have a $15 off coupon on Google also.

Recipe of the Month: Pumpkin Oat Bread

This recipe is my own creation. If you came to my open house last Saturday, this one is already familiar to you. When I made it, I didn't realize I was low on my spices, so I had to improvise a little, and those changes are noted below.

Pumpkin Oat Bread

Ingredients
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (could even be 1/2 teaspoon)
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 cup canola oil
4 eggs
14 1/2 oz canned pumpkin
2/3 cup ground flax seeds
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup old fashioned oats, save some for sprinkling on top of bread

1. Mix together sugars and spices. Add oil, eggs, and pumpkin. Mix well.
2. Stir in flax, flour, and oats.
3. Spread into 2 greased loaf pans (standard size, adjust baking time if using mini-loaf pans).
4. Sprinkle plain oats on top of batter.
5. Bake at 350* for 1 hour 10 minutes--1 hour 20 minutes.

When I made this for the open house, I was almost completely out of ground cloves, so I added in about 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice and polished off that jar too, so I also added a moderate dashing of Allspice. Still turned out great--this recipe is very adaptable and forgiving. :)
